another book review ... and happy new year

I am so excited!  I had ordered a copy of Tim Gunn's Guide to Style and it arrived this morning.  We had a bunch of chill time today (after I did a bunch of cleaning/tidying/prepping) so I ended up reading the entire book.  I think he  has been the biggest influence on my sense of style.  He hasn't defined it; simply helped to rediscover it. Great way to end the year.

But I also want to give a shout out to the wonderful women that I follow.  Diane, I think you have actually been my best role model ... you are such an amazing example of how a woman with a little experience under her belt can still look stylish, current and absolutely amazing.

And to my younger friends, I really appreciate your support and encouragement.  It just confirms to me that I am on the right track.

Barry and I are watching Can't Hardly Wait with Jennifer Love Hewitt.  1998.  OMG!  and only 8 minutes to midnight here ... it's amazing how fast time flies.  I'm almost 45 but I still feel 30 max.  which is a good thing.

HEY IT'S OFFICIAL - HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!  2010 HAS ARRIVED!
